Catch a first glimpse of the live-action film adaptation of Kim Possible before the film is released in 2019 with Sandie Stanley as the titular character.

On August 10th, 2018, a teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action Kim Possible film was uploaded to Disney Channel’s official YouTube channel. The teaser trailer was posted four months after it was announced by Disney that actress Sandie Stanley (Nickelodeon’s Game Shakers) and actor Sean Giambrone (ABC’s The Goldenbergs) would portray the beloved crime-fighting characters Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable respectively.

The teaser trailer does not hint at anything specific about the plot of the film. Instead, the teaser trailer showcases a girl’s silhouette striking some fighting moves in the beginning until the silhouette is revealed to be Sandie Stanley herself as Kim Possible in Kim’s iconic crime-fighting outfit. Stanley then delivers the titular character’s catchphrase “So, what’s the sitch?”, to the audience before she disappears from the screen.

Filming for the Kim Possible live-action film has wrapped up already by the end of July 2018. Below is an Instagram post shared by Todd Stashwick, who plays the villain Dr. Drakken in the film, of photos with Stanley during a warp up dinner with the cast of the Kim Possible film. Stanley had also shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself on-set of the Kim Possible film on her Instagram after production has ended saying, “I’ve never been so happy and so sad at the same time. I’ve also never been more proud of anything. #kimpossible ❤️”

The Kim Possible live-action film is planned to be released sometime in 2019.
