MilkMakeup Introduces More Shades

Instagram

The oil-free, semi-matte foundation has been a success since it first had hit the market a year ago. Showcasing around 16 shades the brands Blur Foundation was something new for the brand to play around with. Opposed to their usual makeup which focuses on a sheer look that focuses on enhancing natural skin tones rather than a full coverage look. Since the release of their foundations, their now two-dozen shades will cover more ground than ever before. The new shades feature more colors for women of a deeper skin tone. The new shades include Porcelain (very fair with neutral undertones), Creme (very fair with warm, yellow undertones), Golden Honey (Medium with warm, very peach undertones), Bisque (medium tan with neutral undertones), Cinnamon (tan to deep with golden, olive undertones), Mocha (deep with neutral undertones), Cocoa (very deep with warm, red undertones), and Espresso (very deep with neutral, cool undertones).

Since most brands are realizing their shade range is endangering their brand name, most companies are looking to re-strategize and add additional shades. Rihanna has influenced many brands with her inclusive Fenty Beauty line.

Along with their foundations gaining more of a shade range, their Flex Concealers are also gaining eight more shades. The new shades include Porcelain, Creme, Vanilla (light with pink undertones), Medium Beige (medium with yellow undertones), Caramel (tan with neutral undertones), Cinnamon, Cocoa, and Espresso.
