Joey King Will Star in Supernatural Romance ‘The In Between’

The Kissing Booth‘s Joey King is bringing another romance movie our way, but this one is little more spooky.

The decision comes along with Paramount Players acquiring the movie pitch. According to Deadline, it is “in the vein of Ghost” but with a younger cast.

The supernatural romance will focus on a teenage girl makes it out of a bad car accident, but unfortunately, her boyfriend does not. The girl believes her boyfriend is trying to contact her from the great beyond.

King will be an actor and producer of the movie, and Marc Klein will write the script.

King has stayed busy this summer with the success of her Netflix film The Kissing Booth, as well as preparing for her upcoming movie Slender Man, and the debut of comedy Summer 03.

There is no news yet on when The In Between will begin filming, let alone hit theaters, but our hopes are high with King involved.
