Despite the fate of Black Panther‘s Shuri being unknown because of Thanos’ handiwork in Avengers: Infinity War, the problem-solving teen genius has found another way for her story to continue.

Shuri, the princess and tech leader of the fictional kingdom of Wakanda, was arguably the standout character of Marvel‘s Black Panther.

With her brilliant mind, witty humor, and charming attitude, T’Challa’s amiable little sister quickly became a fan favorite.

While Shuri’s absence from the third installment of the Avengers was disappointing, fans can be happy in knowing that the STEM superhero will get her own standalone comic book series.

According to Bustle, the comic’s storyline will follow Shuri. who will be forced to choose between herself and her people, when she must leave her lab to take on the role of Wakanda’s leader while her brother is lost in space.

The comic, simply titled Shuri, will be written by Nigerian-American sci-fi author, Nnedi Okorafor, and will be drawn by artist Leonardo Romero, with the cover art by illustrator Sam Spratt.

The comic is set for release this October.
