Jennifer Lopez Is Back In Another Rom-Com

The romantic comedy is seriously taking over the movie scene yet again this year, and now rom-com superstar Jennifer Lopez who originally played a major role in the original rom-com struck generation by staring in major films such as Maid In Manhattan and The Wedding Planner, is back in order to regain her place as a rom-com leading actress.

Somehow the cast of the new film Second Act just gets more and more amazing with Milo Ventimiglia who we all know and love as Jack Pearson on This Is Us cast as Jlo’s love interest, and Leah Remini as her best friend, who also happens to be Jennifers real-life best friend. Seriously what could be better?

Second Act revolves around Lopez’s character somewhat catfishing her new potential employer through some tweaking her best friend’s son had done to her resume in order for her to ultimately gain her position.

Second Act is a comedy in the vein of Working Girl and Maid In Manhattan. Jennifer Lopez stars as Maya, a 40-year-old woman struggling with frustrations from unfulfilled dreams.
