There Are a Thousand Reasons Why You Should Listen to Pentatonix’s Latest Mashup

(RCA Records / Jiro Schneider)

Pentatonix is the master of mashups.

The a cappella group rose to success with their “The Evolution of Beyoncé” mashup, so it comes as no surprise that they know how to merge music.

Taking two seemingly unrelated songs, Pentatonix creates new hits that no one saw coming, including their latest Zedd arrangement.

During the PBS 38th annual A Capitol Fourth event, the musicians debuted their “Stay” and “The Middle” mashup.

Perhaps because both songs are produced by Zedd the slowed down rendition of the two seem like they were meant to be one all along.

Performing dressed in coordinated outfits of red, white, and black, Scott Hoying, Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, and Matt Salle slayed their looks and the patriotic show.

Using their new song in their latest Instagram post, the group marked the beginning of the one-week countdown until the start of their tour.

To harmonize along with the acoustic acts, tickets for the PTX Summer Tour 2018 are available on their official website.
