The late designer’s eponymous brand is honoring her legacy in the aptest way possible.

The world lost a fashion icon on June 5th when the co-founder and namesake of Kate Spade New York took her life at just 55-years-old. Weeks after the tragic news broke, the company has now disclosed their plans to donate to causes that raise awareness about mental illness and serve those who are struggling as Spade was.

As the brand details in the caption of their Instagram post, they will begin by giving $250,000 to the Crisis Text Line, a free support line available 24/7 to those in crisis. They have also pledged to match public donations up to $100,000 to the organization from June 20th through June 29th–a generous and beautiful act of charity to memorialize a woman who may still be here today had she utilized resources such as this.

Spade’s funeral will be held on Thursday, June 21st, in her hometown of Kansas City, Missouri.
