Shawn Mendes Makes Portugal’s World Cup Song
Being that Shawn Mendes’ father is Portuguese, Shawn decided to share the pride that he has for his Portuguese culture by incorporating his music into the 2018 World Cup.
Shawn’s song, In My Blood, from his album Shawn Mendes The Album, was used for the Portuguese soccer team’s official anthem for this year’s World Cup. Unfortunately, Brazilian fans were left unhappy after finding this out. Shawn Mendes’ song for this year’s World Cup allowed more of his fans to become more interested to tune in to the 2018 World Cup.
The Portuguese team and fans share with Twitter their thoughts on the collab with Shawn and the team.
