Drake’s ‘I’m Upset’ Video Is the Ultimate Nod to His Degrassi Days
Drake is the gift that keeps on giving.
Drake has never been one to shy away from his start in the entertainment industry as Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi: The Next Generation.
The rapper and actor has even made mention of it in multiple songs, including in “Worst Behavior,” with the lyrics, “5 a.m., going shoot Degrassi up on Morningside. For all the stunting, I’ll forever be immortalized.”
In the best TBT to date, Drake staged the Degrassi reunion we’ve always wanted but didn’t think we’d get.
For Drake fans who have followed him since his “Downtown Sasquatch” days, the six and a half minute video for his single, “I’m Upset,” was the perfect sentimental surprise.
