These celebrities do more with their millions than what meets the eye. From building foundations to donating to charity these celebrities deserve recognition.
Denzel Washington: For a theater student Denzel Washington paid for them to attend a summer program at Oxford University. The student that Denzel impacted was Chadwick Boseman, who thanked him at the Black Panther premiere.
John Cena: He told ESPN that he would drop everything if he can offer a fantastic experience. He has granted 550 wishes for the Make-A-Wish foundation.
Gina Rodriguez: She helped one of her fans wear her 2015 Golden Globes dress to prom.
Nicki Minaj: Nicki Minaj in 2017 donated her time to a small village in India. Recently Nicki Minaj has started helping some of her Barbs pay for college.
John Legend: For 99 Seattle schools John Legend paid off $5,000 in school lunch debt.
J.K. Rowling: She dropped from the Forbes billionaires list after donating an estimated $160 million to charity. J.K Rowling said that we have a moral responsibility when one has received more than one needs that you should do wise things and give intelligently.
Chance the Rapper: In 2017, Chance launched the New Chance Arts and Literature Fund, as well as raised over $3.2 million for Chicago Public schools. He then was rewarded at the 2017 BET awards with the BET Humanitarian Award by Michelle Obama.
