Drake’s ‘I’m Upset’ Reaches Records

We are all waiting in anticipation for his fifth album Scorpion to drop, but his new single certainly does not make us upset.

Drake has released four chart-topping singles in 2018 so far: “God’s Plan,” “Diplomatic Immunity,” “Nice for What,” and most recently “I’m Upset.” All of these songs have made it on the rankings of the top hits of Hot 100 and Billboard. The first three debuted at number one.

Drake announced the name of his upcoming album back in April with no mention of when it will be released. It is unclear if the 2018 releases will end up on the track list but to most everyone, it does not matter since they can be streamed across all music platforms. The song makes Drake have his 164th career Hot 100 entry, only extending his already outstanding record of hit solo songs.

“I’m Upset” is his 46th top 20 hit and 74th top 40 hit. There is no doubt that it would climb in the ranking with more promotion. However, Drake does not seem to care much for advertising other than simple announcements. He lets his music speak for itself.
