Jennifer Lawrence Is Reportedly Dating a Non-Celebrity
Rumors are flying that J. Law has a new man, and interestingly enough, he’s not famous.
Cooke Maroney is the lucky guy’s name, and he’s a 33-year-old New York art gallerist. Allegedly the two were introduced by Lawrence’s best friend Laura Simpson, and they’ve been seeing each other for a few weeks now.
The pair has been on several outings since they first got together but were most recently spotted leaving the Sant Ambroeus in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday, June 5th. They appeared arm-in-arm, smiling and seeming to enjoy each other’s company.
While Maroney has remained out of the spotlight until now, he does have a pretty high-profile job that’s allowed him to rub elbows with artists like Caroll Dunham (Lena Dunham’s father), Anish Kapoor, and Matthew Barney (Bjork’s ex). He’s made such connections at his current place of business as director of Gladstone 64 on the Upper East Side.
The Oscar-winner has been single since her split with filmmaker Darren Aronofsky in September 2017, but it looks like she’s quite happy now with Maroney. We’ll just have to wait and see if Lawrence will take the next step and alert the presses that they’re official.
