See Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin recreate the true story of Tami Oldham and Richard Sharp in Adrift.

You probably know 26-year-old actress Shailene Woodley best for her role in The Fault In Our Stars, which is based on the book by John Green. Woodley plays teenager Hazel Grace Lancaster, alongside Ansel Egort as Augustus Waters. The two main characters fall in love, but both being ill have to deal with losing the one they love most shortly after their story begins. In a similar romantic tragedy, also based off of a book, Sam Claflin plays William Traynor in Me Before You with Emilia Clarke. Both Woodley and Claflin’s performances in their famous romantic dramas make them perfect candidates for yet another romantic film on enduring life’s unexpected obstacles.

Adrift is based on the story of a young couple who planned to sail across the ocean in 1983. Woodley plays the character forced to figure out a way for the two to survive after her partner becomes severely injured.  The film was released nationwide today.
