‘Greys Anatomy’ Star Ellen Pompeo Shares She Was Robbed in Italy
Ellen Pompeo shared with the Instagram world that her purse was taken from her on Friday, May 25, while on vacation in Italy.
The Grey’s Anatomy star stated, “My purse was stolen from right under my nose!!” after thanking the local Italian police officers. “I blame the rose!! But Grazia to whoever stole it for dropping it on the street exactly intact.”
With her caption all in Italian, she went on and asked followers to “forgive my horrible Italian.”
Pompeo’s caption gained the attention of concerned fans as well as co-stars. Grey’s Anatomy co-star, Giacomo Gianniotto, who was born in Rome and is fluent in Italian, stated, “Cmon Ellen! You didn’t hit up your boy for an Italian translation? Haha I’ll be there in July and I’ll be on the prowl for your boy, he don’t stand a chance,” he commented on her post. “Glad you are safe!”
Despite the theft scare, Pompeo captured some gorgeous pictures of the Italian architecture and her children.
