Debby Ryan Partners with Aerie for NEDA Donations

(Instagram)

With swimwear too cute to hide and Debby Ryan’s help, Aerie is donating $1 for each untouched swim photo you share.

As Debby Ryan points out in a sponsored Instagram post of her sporting Aerie swimwear, swimsuit season can be triggering for people with eating disorders.

The pressure to have the perfect summer body can leave you feeling bummed and self-conscious. From some, it may even lead to self-harming thoughts and actions.

For Ryan, it compelled her to spend her 13th birthday “hiding swaddled in a towel.”

The Jessie alum is over hiding and has decided “there’s too much cute swimwear to let [her]self be weird about it anymore. Everyone’s a different kind of gorgeous, so love swim you’re in!”

Aerie, the no retouching body positive brand, is donating $1 to The National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) for every #AerieReal untouched swim photo shared on Instagram up to $25 thousand.

To join Ryan in feeling good, looking good, doing good, all you have to do is snap a selfie and post it on Instagram with the hashtag #AerieReal.
