Paramore Motivates Young People to Vote on Their Summer Tour

(Atlantic Records)

Paramore has teamed up with HeadCount, an organization that partners with musicians to encourage voter registration.

Paramore will be promoting positive change with voter registration drives at each of their shows for their summer tour, with the hopes that more young people will vote in this November’s midterm elections.

Hayley Williams of Paramore says, “They’ll be at the shows all summer and we’d like to encourage young people coming out to take this chance to make their presence known and their convictions noted.”

Paramore is just one of many musicians that have joined HeadCount’s mission. They will be apart of 60 national tours including tours for G-Eazy, PVRIS, Dave Matthews Band, and Jack Johnson. They will also be present at Comic Cons and music PRIDE festivals. HeadCount hopes to register its 500,000th voter this summer.

The “Hard Times” band is set to start their US After Laughter Summer Tour come June 12th with Foster the People in St. Augustine, Florida. They will end their tour on July 24th at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
