Ariana Grande and Jimmy Fallon Perform ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ Using Nintendo Instruments

Monday night, on The Tonight Show, Ariana Grande joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots in a playful version of “No Tears to Cry” for the show’s segment of “Classroom Instruments.”

The group of musicians took the segment to a whole new level by performing the song with Nintendo Labo instruments, while Grande sang her latest single. They all wore jumpsuits to fit the colorful, spacy vibe of the performance.

Fallon and The Roots were able to pull off the performance using cardboard attached to Nintendo Switch consoles, which is basically what the Nintendo Labo is. It was a different and fun spin on the segment, as they usually use toy instruments instead.

Grande had performed “No Tears Left to Cry” earlier this month on the show for the first time on TV, but the twist makes this performance a little more fun. “No Tears Left to Cry” will be on Grande’s next album, Sweetener. You can also see Grande perform again on May 20th at the Billboard Music Awards.
