Project Runway Returns to Bravo

(Lifetime)

After 12 seasons on Lifetime, Project Runway is making the jump back to its original host channel, Bravo, as announced by Andy Cohen today.

This is the second major change the Project Runway team has made this year. This past fall following the sexual harassment allegations against the executive producer, Harvey Weinstein, Project Runway announced that Weinstein would be removed from all associations with the show, sparking the initiative for change.

Just because a new network has taken over the popular show doesn’t mean we will lose the all the elements of Project Runway we all know and love. Bravo plans to keep all the same elements as well as hosts as those that already appear on the Lifetime Network show currently.

We still expect this show to thrive as it does year after year considering the show has consistently been nominated for an Emmy award each year since 2005 for the reality competition category.

This will be Project Runways 17th season, however, the exact date of the new season’s airtime has yet to be released.
