Selena Gomez Releases New Song for 13 Reasons Why
Selena Gomez gives fans a new song “Back To You” that leaves us even more excited for 13 Reasons Why season 2.
The song begins with lyrics of lost love and acoustic guitars, but it builds into an energetic pop beat. The dynamic track will be featured in the 13 Reasons Why Season 2 soundtrack. Gomez debuted the new song on Beats 1 Radio with Zane Lowe.
In her interview, Gomez called the song a “special record” she wanted to give to Season 2 of the show. Gomez added, “I want it to be a beautiful message in a really complicated way, but really fun.” While Gomez didn’t reveal who the song was written about, the lyrics tell us that it is inspired by missing a past relationship.
The “Wolves” singer also mentions that she is finishing up her third studio album, and that she is feeling the best she has ever felt in reference to her battle with lupus. Gomez has been vocal about her fight with lupus for years now and often shares her journey on social media. Gomez adds, “I’ve been very aware of my platform, and I don’t try to hide any part of flaws that are in me.”
