The song only features female artists.

“Girls” is primarily sung by Rita Ora but features Cardi B, Bebe Rexha and Charli XCX. The track was released as a single before Ora releases her second album. It’s been six years since the British singer released her first album called Ora. When asked in an interview of why Ora chose these three women and why it took song long for her to put out another album, she replied “there’s just some amazing new artists that have come out since I put out ORA, that I’ve been obsessed with. […] I just gathered all the girls that I thought were just, like, cool vibes. It’s always about the vibe and the energy and the connection.”

The song is a celebration on female sexuality and is similar to songs like Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl” and Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”. In the song, each artist expresses her desire to be intimate with another woman. The chorus, sung by all the women, is ‘sometimes, I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls/Red wine, I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls’.

“Girls” is out now and can be heard on any place where you listen to music.
