Lady Gaga, Paramore, and More Donate Gear for Girls Rock Camp Alliance

(Interscope Records)

Lady Gaga, Hayley Williams of Paramore, and Kacey Musgraves are just a few of the female musicians offering up their gear and signed memorabilia to the Girls Rock Camp Alliance. The items will be auctioned off on Reverb, an online marketplace, starting May 10th. The proceeds from the auction will go to Girls Rock Camp Alliance, a non-profit that provides over 100 summer camps and music education programs for female, transgender, and gender non-binary kids and teens.

Some of the gear being donated is Lady Gaga’s guitar pedal from her Joanne tour, a number of microphones from Hayley Williams, and Charli XCX donating a signed vinyl and cassette copy of her album, Number 1 Angel.

Kasey Musgraves is donating a microphone and a signed plastic pink flamingo. Musgraves is happy to be supporting the cause, saying “We need more perspectives of strong women living on through art and music, so I’m happy to support Girls Rock.”

Other artists donating to the auction include Dolly Parton, Charli XCX, Fergie, Sharon Van Etten, and many more. You can see a preview of the sale on Reverb’s website.
