Ariana Grande on the Manchester Attack

(NBC/The Tonight Show)

Ariana Grande was the guest on Jimmy Fallon this past Tuesday.

Jimmy Fallon rightfully and respectfully brought up the Manchester terrorist attack that occurred just under a year ago on May 22, 2017. He said, “I just want to say thank you so much for coming on to the show and for being strong, and for entertaining and showing up and going back to Manchester and doing [the benefit concert].” Grande teared up and thanked Jimmy Fallon for the praise of her strength at facing this adversity.

Scooter Braun is the musician’s manager. He had released a statement after the terrorist attack, saying that she too, was having a difficult time, and had suffered from trauma. It was difficult on Ariana Grande to have such a horrific event occur at her concert. She has truly done what she could, meeting with 19 of the injured people at the hospital and hosting the benefit event as a tribute to this attack.
