A College Student Slid into Michael B. Jordan’s DMs for a Fan Picture

A fan and university student at Temple University named Sylvia Wilson snagged a picture with actor Michael B. Jordan while he was on set, filming Creed II near her school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. According to her, she offered a smoothie in return for a photograph with the Black Panther star. He responded that she didn’t need to bring him anything, and would enjoy taking a picture with her. The result was a series of very cute photos posted on May 1st, uploaded onto Twitter.
This post blew up on the Twittersphere, being liked 190,000 times and retweeted 39,000 times. The hashtag #pullaSylvia became a trending topic, with many positive responses and people applauding her.

Sylvia took the photo to her Instagram account ( @petite_athlete) with the comment:
“Everybody is picking the story up…I’m so blessed. I’m just trying to help [people] understand that there are regular people out there who just so happen to be celebrities.”
