Late night hosts have come to Michelle Wolf’s defense amidst the backlash she’s faced over her White House Correspondents Dinner speech.

At the dinner, Wolf spoke for roughly twenty-minutes, cracking jokes that the White House Correspondents Association–the organizers of the event–deemed to be in poor taste.

It didn’t take long for the ensuing attack on Wolf to launch, but her former colleagues, Trevor Noah and Seth Meyers, wasted no time in clapping back against the negative remarks being made about her. Both Noah and Meyers responded to these comments on their respective late night shows.

While Noah used his segment to highlight the hypocrisy of the criticism that Wolf faced from President Trump, Meyers fired back at the WHCA, “You hired her.”

Stephen Colbert also used the platform of his late night show to defend Wolf.

Stephen Colbert recuses himself from commenting on Michelle Wolf’s jokes because he’s never performed at the White House Correspondents Dinner. But you know who has? Stephen Colbert.

He responded, “Look, you didn’t like it. You have that right. Don’t invite her back again.” Colbert, like Meyers, also emphasized the point that the WHCA was responsible for giving her the job, analogizing, “Being mad at her for doing her job is like accusing the valet of briefly stealing her car.”
