Grey’s Anatomy Will Return for a 15th Season
The show is now the longest-running primetime drama ever.
According to a press release published by ABC, “Only seven dramas in the history of television have had more seasons”.
“Grey’s Anatomy has a special place in my heart, and millions of viewers feel the same way,” said ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey in the press release. “Thanks to fiercely loyal fans who have been on this journey since the beginning, and new generations of viewers who continue to discover the joy and drama of Grey Sloan Memorial, the show is as strong as ever.”
But first, fans will have to get through the season 14 finale. With Ellen Pompeo tweeting that the finale is “devastating with a side of absurdity” and knowing that Sarah Drew and Jessica Capshaw are leaving the show, fans may have to prepare themselves with some tissues.
