Ashely Tisdale Produces Scooby Doo Spin-off ‘Daphne and Velma’
Watch out Scooby Doo, Velma and Daphne are coming for you.
A new Scooby Doo spin-off movie is being created. The movie will surround Daphne and Velma, the women of the Mystery Gang. The film is to be produced by Ashley Tisdale who has produced several films and TV shows and was a Disney Channel star. The company created by Tisdale and her sister Jennifer is called Blonde Girl Productions. This company produces movies that focus on telling female lead stories.
The new film will be about how Daphne and Velma meet during their high school years and solve mysteries. As sticking to their original characters, Velma is the traditional geek while Daphne is the cool girl at school. The movie is set to show a feel-good story about friendship as well as unlocking a bond between the two. It’s unclear if any of the other Scooby Doo characters will make any cameos.
