Yara Shahidi Is Teaming up with Now This for a Good Cause

Yara Shahidi is not shy about her passion for politics and now she’s making sure other young people know its importance.

Teaming with Now This, Shahidi is calling for all teens turning eighteen this year to register to vote in this year’s midterm elections. Most teens think about going out to celebrate when they’re finally of legal age but Shahidi wants more young voters to register and actually go to the polls to make a difference.

Eighteenx18 is encouraging teens to inform and educate themselves about the political climate we are currently in. Young people have a lot of power and coming together to elect the right people can make a great change and that is exactly what Yara is trying to do with this partnership.
