Khalid + Normani Perform Their Single ‘Love Lies’ on Jimmy Fallon
The Grammy-nominated singer and former Fifth Harmony vocalist teamed up to perform a rock-styled version of their new single on The Tonight Show.
Complementing their vocals was a live guitarist and a drummer. Infused in the background were electric leads and cymbal-heavy fills. Neon purple lights highlighted the stage, creating an electric and sensual atmosphere. In the middle of it sat a white chair and a clear table holding a vase filled with flowers.
There was a sensual and seductive vibe between the two during the whole performance. “Love Lies” was released in February as part of the soundtrack for the film Love, Simon.
Both singers have experienced some success this year. Khalid’s career instantly sparked with his single “Location” and Normani has recently signed with Keep Cool/RCA Records as a solo artist.
