Meteor Showers on Demand Could Be a Thing Soon

We all love meteor showers and how peaceful they can be to watch.

What if there was a way to see one whenever you wanted. The private space industry is thriving and a Japanese company is trying to make on-demand meteor showers happen. According to NBC News, starting summer of 2019 if everything goes according to plan Hiroshima, Japan will have man-made meteor showers.

This is possible by fireworks that will be coming from a satellite that is about 220 miles high. This satellite is owned by Astro Live Experiences, which is the first-ever aerospace entertainment company. The way that this works will be by the satellite that will circle the globe and spit out 15 to 20 metallic pebbles that will burn up in the atmosphere and give off the glow of a meteor shower.

This by no means is cheap, so more than likely big cities and theme parks will be some of the only places that this will even be able to happen due to the cost. What a time to be alive that we can now have meteor showers whenever and wherever we please.
