How to Take Care of Your Nails After the Acrylics Come off

Pampering yourself is a great feeling.

This can often time include spa days and acrylic nails. Chemicals, buffing, and glue can all affect your real nails. It is important that the person doing your nails does not over file them or drill too much on them. This will hurt both you and your nail beds. Once you have safely removed your acrylic nails there are a few things you can do to help bring them back to life.

Cuticle oil will help moisturize and strengthen nails.

Making sure that you trim your nails short until they become stronger will help as well. If they are left long there is a big possibility that you will break a nail.

Get a nail strengthener, which will help bring your nails back to what they used to be before the acrylics were put on.

If you love how long acrylics last, try gel nail polish. It gives you a nice gloss finish and lasts a lot longer than normal polish.

Acrylics do not have to be bad, but they should never be worn for a long time. Every 6 months or so they should be taken off to let your real nails breathe.
