Remembering the Victims of the Austin Package Bombings

Two people lost their lives when explosive packages were put on their doorsteps in Austin, Texas.

Over the course of 10 days, three package bombs were delivered to homes in Austin, wreaking havoc on local residents.

Anthony Stephan House was a senior project manager at Texas Quarries. He attended Texas State University-San Marcos. House was 39 years old when he died after the first blast on his front porch on March 2.

Draylen Mason, a talented bass player and student, was accepted in the Butler School of Music at the University of Texas at Austin. His mother suffered from injuries that were not considered life-threatening from the explosive package. Mason was 17 years old.
