The talk about stricter gun laws is not going away anytime soon.

The school shooting that happened in Parkland, Florida seemed to light a fire under this generation. High school students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas and other schools across the country are making sure that their voices are being heard. During the iHeart Radio awards, it was made clear that these kids’ voices are being heard.

Hailey Baldwin and DJ Khaled hosted the award show. Hailey wore a shirt that had the Florida high school’s name written on the front and an eagle, which is the school’s mascot on the back with the words “Eagles soar higher.”

Alex Moscou of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School was introduced by Big Sean, and he talked about the changes that need to be made so students feel safe at school. He also talked about the March Of Our Lives happening on March 24th.

It is great to see that this generation is making sure their voices are being heard with such an important and serious matter. It is even greater that celebrities are making sure that their voices do not go silent.
