Interview: Lauryn McClain on YouTube RED’s New Series, Step Up: High Water
Lauryn McClain’s first movie was the Tyler Perry movie, Daddy’s Little Girls, that she did with her sisters’ years ago.
Now you can see this talented actress in the new YouTube RED series, Step Up: High Water. Little known fact about Lauryn, she taught herself pointe at the age of thirteen, and was also the composer for the Disney Channel show, A.N.T. Farm.
GLITTER: Did you always want to be an actress?
LAURYN: Actually, it all started with music. I think I realized that acting was a second love after I did my first movie with my sisters called Daddy’s Little Girls.
GLITTER: Who do you play in the STEP UP: HIGH WATER series?:
LAURYN: I play a seventeen-year-old named Janelle Baker, who’s forced to move to Atlanta from Ohio with her twin brother, Tal!
