Celebs Are Backing Students’ Plea for Better Gun Control Laws

The conversation about stricter gun laws has not calmed down since the horrible school shooting in Parkland, Florida back in February.

It is a bittersweet thing to see the next generation so passionate about something so serious. Students have made a petition that asks elected officials to approve a law that will ban the sale of assault weapons and prohibit the sale of high capacity magazines.

The best thing about students making this petition is the fact that it is being heard by a lot of people. Dicks Sporting Goods and Walmart both announced stricter rules on who can buy guns in their stores. Now celebs are showing their support. Justin Bieber posted the petition on his twitter and said, “Help these kids and sign their petition now.”

I just signed this petition, and you should too.

Harry Styles also posted the petition as well to show his support and to help get the support of others as well. It is great to see the voices of these kids being heard all over the country. Hopefully, this truly helps make a great change.
