Danielle Herrington Makes History on ‘Sports Illustrated’ Swimsuit Cover

Danielle Herrington is the newest model on the cover of Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition.

The most exciting part about this, that she is only the third black woman to be on the swimsuit cover. The only other two women on the cover were Tyra Banks and Beyonce. Danielle has wanted to do this since she found out that Tyra Banks was the first black woman to be on the swimsuit cover.

Danielle appeared on Good Morning America and was surprised with a video from Tyra Banks letting her know how amazing this opportunity is and how Danielle has just become a really big role model to girls everywhere. This is such an inspiring thing. Being able to help girls everywhere see that if they work hard and focus on what they want, they can achieve it.
