This is Schumer’s most recent film, coming after the release of Thank You for Your Service and Snatched in 2017.

Comedian Amy Schumer released the first look into her latest film I Feel Pretty during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The film featuring Emily Ratajkowski, Michelle Williams, Busy Phillips, and Aidy Bryant, is centered on a woman’s appearance and how it affects her love life. In the trailer, you see Schumer struggle with feelings of insecurity, but after a fall at a Soulcycle, she wakes to believe that she is the most beautiful and capable woman to grace the planet.

“I start seeing myself as a supermodel,” Schumer explained during her appearance. “I look exactly the same, but in my mind, I am Gisele (Bündchen), I am one of the Jenner-Kardashians, gorgeous, and things start happening.”

Her newfound confidence guides her to take on a new life until she finds that her appearance has never changed.

“Women know deep down it’s what’s on the outside that the whole world judges,” says Renee, Schumer’s character in the trailer.
