Lifetime Casts Their Royals for ‘Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance’ Feature

Lifetime will feature a movie about the adorable royal couple.

From the network that brought you the Beaches reboot feauturing Idina Menzel and Nia Long, Lifetime is bringing the romance of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to life in their feature Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance.

Parisa Fitz-Henley, from Jessica Jones, and Murray Fraser, from The Loch, have been cast as Markle and Prince Harry. The film will follow the love between the beloved prince and his new fiancée, while examining the relationship from the time they met after being set up by friends, through the their hidden romance, to today’s state of royal engagement.

The phenomenon gaining media attention will be brought to life with executive producers Meredith Finn and Michele Weiss, while under the direction of Menhaj Huda from a script by Scarlett Lacey and Terrence Coli. Given its final casting call, production is scheduled to begin later this week in Los Angeles and Vancouver.

The film itself is set to debut this spring.
