Jessica Biel Educates Her Two-Year-Old Son on an Important Topic
Jessica Biel is already giving her two-year-old son the birds and the bees talk so that he can respect himself and respect others.
Jessica Biel sat down with Saundra Pelletier and Elaine Welteroth at the 2018 MAKERS Conference to talk about sex education and relationships. She held a conversation about personal experiences while raising her son, Silas, with her husband, Justin Timberlake.
“For me in my household, I have a two and a half-year-old and we’re starting now,” she stated after she was asked about when the time is right to actually start talking about sex and relationships. In response, Jessica just explains that she talks to him about what he has as a boy and what she has as a girl just so he is aware that there is a difference.
Biel also talks about many things that we are not taught as individuals like periods and having babies and cervical fluid. She stated, “You feel like, ‘Oh, I’m disgusting. I have this thing. It’s in my underwear,’ and, you think you’re this like disgusting thing and you are perfect, but nobody tells you. Why is that not being taught?” Biel definitely makes a great point. As women and men, we cannot control our biological makeup we just go with it.
It is no secret that Jessica Biel is a family girl and loves her husband and son so much. Nothing is awkward for her because sometimes we have to laugh it off and then get down to the real questions. She is always posting on social media and sharing the love of her family.
