Justin Timberlake stuns the crowd at Super Bowl 52 with his tribute to Prince.

Justin Timberlake gave a very nice tribute to Prince at last night’s Super Bowl 52 where the Eagles took the win along with Philadelphia, but JT, not so much.

Sheila E, Prince’s former collaborator, tweeted, “Family, I spoke w/Justin 2nite and he shared heartfelt words of respect for Prince & the Purple fans. I look 4wrd 2 seeing what I’m sure is going 2 be a spectacular halftime show. There is no hologram.”

Justin Timberlake performed many of his songs and Prince’s ‘I would Die 4 U’ and fans were not happy with the tribute. According to a Sheila, Prince did not want anyone to have a hologram of him during any tribute. For Justin’s performance, he had a large white sheet with Prince’s face on it while he performed Prince’s song.”Prince told me don’t ever let anyone’s a hologram of me,” Sheila tweeted before speaking with Justin about his half time show plans.

Although JT did not use a hologram, fans were still pretty upset about Prince’s wishes, but the stadium was going wild for his performance. He even walked up and down aisles of the stadium giving fans a close-up. All around, Justin Timberlake put on a great show filled with lights, mirrors, and fabulous dancers.
