Miranda Bailey scared all of us when we thought she was going to die from a heart attack, but no worries, Dr. Bailey made it. Since season one, episode one, Shonda Rhimes has stolen our hearts and crushed them by removing our favorite characters like George, Izzy, Christina, and of course the most heartbreaking loss of all, Derek Shepard. It is no secret that Shonda Rhimes pushes all of us to the edge.

She says that without Shonda Rhimes, doors would not have opened for her to start directing and when Shonda told her to start directing, she could not turn her down. “I just got done directing my 18th episode of Grey’s Anatomy,” Wilson said.

We can also expect to see the character of Dr. Bailey guest star on the Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Station 19.
