U2 did a pre-taping of their performance for the Grammys. Their performance was on a floating stage in front of the Statue of Liberty. U2 is known for supporting political movements. This performance was just one performance for the Grammys that supported the dreamers. Logic also made a political stance during his performance about how the diversity of other countries is what makes this country so great. This performance was meant to make a statement and that is exactly what it did.
