‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Season 2 Trailer Is Here

The trailer for season two of The Handmaid’s Tale is here, as well as a premiere date.

For all of The Handmaid’s Tale fans, the wait is over. We finally get to catch a glimpse of what’s to come for Offred. The season will premiere on April 25th and will include 13 episodes. This next season will focus on the pregnancy of Offred (Elisabeth Moss) and her struggle to find her daughter in the Gilead, the horrifying dystopian nightmare she is now living in. Other returning actors include Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, and Max Minhella. Moss revealed that this season is all about motherhood.

The show has gotten a lot of praise and has won many awards. The show took home eight Primetime Emmys including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series, and Outstanding Drama Series. At the Golden Globes, they took home the award for Best Television Series and Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series. The show is based on Margaret Atwood’s book The Handmaid’s Tale.
