After allegations of sexual misconduct, James Franco isn’t at The Critics Choice Award to accept his big win.

James Franco won the award for Best Actor in A Comedy during last night’s Critic’s Choice Awards, however, he wasn’t there to accept this award. After Franco’s appearance and win at Sunday evening’s Golden Globes, five women came out saying that Franco had assaulted them in some way and they were ashamed to see Franco wearing the “Time’s Up” pin and supporting the movement. After these allegations were made, Franco was seen on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert addressing them.

Franco is “in a really bad place” after hearing about the allegations. He’s denied the claims made against him, as seen in the interview above. The allegations came up in another interview with Seth Myers on Wednesday. In the interview, Franco states that the tweets he read about his sexual misconduct were not accurate, but supports the women that are coming out with allegations similar to his situation. Franco supports the entire Times Up movement and takes responsibility for his past actions.
