With stars from the NBA to SNL, this film is the perfect dose of it all.

The Female Brain, inspired by the Louann Brizendine’s 2006 book of the same name, is a take on the controversial belief that a women’s behavior differed from that of a man’s because of the biochemistry of the brain. Written by Neal Brennan and Whitney Cummings, the film follows a female scientist who studies the difference between the male and female brains, while her findings begin to dictate the choices in her life. The ensemble comedy featuring comedians Deon Cole, Chris Delia, and Cecily Strong, debuted last June at the Los Angeles Film Festival, but won’t hit theaters until February 9.
