Prince William Shadows Surgery for the Day
Prince William scrubbed in for surgery at the Royal Marsden Hospital today.
While he doesn’t have the technical qualifications to practice medicine, he still got to try out a cutting-edge robotic console. We’ll assume it wasn’t on a live patient. During his visit, he shadowed a robotic surgery on a patient diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and another with a tumor in his esophagus.

During his visit, Prince William, who is the president of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, met various staff members and patients at the hospital.

Here’s hoping Prince William visits our hospital during our next visit.
