Growing up with Siblings

If you grew up with siblings then you are no stranger to having your possessions just disappearing.

Having siblings meant sharing everything from clothes to toys to the attention of your parents and other family members. You probably had dreams of what it would be like if you were an only child. Never having to share and always getting what you wanted, because you were your parents only priority. Growing up with siblings was a little rough. You never had privacy and you always thought it was lame if your younger sibling wanted to start hanging out with you and your friends. Good news for anyone currently dealing with the hard years of siblings. It gets better. You will soon realize that your siblings are some of your best friends and no one will ever understand the love/hate relationship of it all. With that being said here are a few things to always remember.

1: The only person allowed to mess with your siblings is you. If you find out someone else is trying to take that job, stop them.

2: If someone wants to borrow something before you agree, make sure it is something you won’t miss or be mad if it were to get ruined.

3: No matter how small or how big the fight, always say I’m sorry.

4: Never stop being involved in each other’s lives. No matter what. Relationships with siblings are some of the most important ones you will ever have.

Siblings are the biggest pain in the butt blessing you will ever have. Never take them for granted.
