Was American Horror Story Season 8 Just Revealed?
Creator Ryan Murphy gave fans a hint as to the theme of the next season.
Murphy revealed that the next season is going sci-fi and will be set in the future! The creator revealed this information at the Television Critics Association’s semi-annual press tour in Pasadena this evening.
Lots of speculation has occurred over what kind of “future” the next season will be set in. Murphy denied the next season being in space, but it excited to create a show set in the future, a task he has never done. Production on the new season has just begun. Everyone is still curious how the seasons of the anthology series are connected. Rumor has it the 9th, and final season will contain a crossover of season’s one (Murder House) and three (Coven). Fans were hoping the crossover season would be next, but sadly a lot of the cast they had in mind, wasn’t available. Murphy’s goal is to bring back the stars from all seasons for a last hoorah. Murphy’s new Fox drama 9-1-1 has many stars we’ve seen from the AHS series including Connie Britton and Angela Bassett.
