The 2018 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards are set to keep audiences on their toes and keep the movement alive.

After the recent scandal that prospered in Hollywood, women who are appearing at the Golden Globes on January 7, are set to wear black in the highlights of the #metoo movement against sexual misconduct.  After the Harvey Weinstein scandal, over 300 women in Hollywood came together to form “Time’s Up,” which will have women walking the red carpet to wear black by raising awareness of sexual misconduct in the workplace and in daily life.

Now, women are coming together to raise awareness in the fight to end sexual misconduct. The women who came forward back in 2017 against Weinstein are seen as strong, independent women who just want justice and equality for all.

People speculate that most of the talk at the award show this year will have less to do with fashion and more to do with politics and the #metoo movement. Although the Golden Globes is an award ceremony to highlight film and fashion, it is going to be a groundbreaking platform for those who have been affected by the movement and those who stand with each woman.
