How to Crush Your New Year’s Resolutions

Every year it seems to be a tradition for people to come up with resolutions that will somehow make the new year better.

The definition of a resolution is “A firm decision to do or not to do something”. The thought of resolving something at the beginning of a new year seems almost unrealistic. A new year means new adventures to be had and new roads to take in life. This involves a lot of choices that may interfere with the resolutions that have been made. A more realistic thing that should be done is to make goals for yourself, both long term and short term. The word resolution sounds pretty black and white.  Goals and life are not black and white. There are a lot of twists and turns that life throws at you, and to say that a final decision was made at the beginning of the year would be crazy to do. This year, make goals. Write them down, hang them up, and crush them. This year will be full of adventures and lessons and they all make you into a better version of yourself. Happy New Year and crush your goals!
