BTS Brings the Moves at New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest
South Korean boy band BTS performed their singles “DNA” and “Mic Drop” at Rockin’ Eve in Hollywood.
The breakout Korean pop stars had everyone breaking out some dance moves as they performed and danced their fast-paced singles. BTS had a ground-breaking year in 2017 especially in the U.S. They made their American television debut when they performed at the American Music Awards, their single “DNA” became the first K-pop song to be featured on Spotify’s and Billboard’s top songs list of 2017, and they gained a lot of popularity doing so.
Their single “Mic Drop” became the group’s first number one song on the U.S. iTunes songs chart. It was also their first top 40 song in the U.S. as it reached number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100. BTS also performed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. With BTS’s breakout year in 2017, we will definitely see more of them and their energetic dance moves in 2018.
